The main destination for these supplies of oil is Western Europe, where
Libya is the second largest supplier to the European Community. The Oil
Sector employs a workforce of 35.000 in the areas of production, processing,
distribution and in service companies.
The development of a wide variety of educational and training programs
continues to be a major priority, in addition to the improvement of living
and working conditions, promoting greater efficiency and productivity.
